Ensign Energy Services Inc. is Canada’s second largest land-based drilling contractor and third largest well servicing contractor. Ensign provides oilfield services for the North American and international market. The Company’s Canadian oilfield service operations consist of land-based contract drilling, underbalanced drilling services, well servicing and provides manufacturing, wireline and production testing to the crude oil and natural gas industry.

With its headquarters in Calgary, Alberta, Ensign is an industry leader in the delivery of oilfield services. Since its inception in 1989, Ensign has accumulated an extensive rig fleet characterized by flexibility and mobility for meeting the challenging demands of the oil and natural gas industry. Ensign has also contributed to advancements in drilling and well servicing through the innovative use of technology, and has an established reputation for the highest safety standards and environmental stewardship.

Ensign is the public holding company for nine operating divisions. The Canadian drilling divisions include Champion Drilling, Ensign Drilling, Tri-City Drilling, Big Sky Drilling, Encore Coring & Drilling, Enhanced Drill Systems and Chandel Equipment Rentals. Together with the United States drilling divisions, Ensign United States Drilling Inc. and Ensign United States Drilling (California) Inc., the Company provides oil and natural gas drilling services in western Canada and the United States.

Rockwell Servicing Partnership provides oil and natural gas well servicing services in western Canada. Ensign also provides manufacturing and production services to the Canadian oil and natural gas industry through Opsco Energy Industries. In the United States, Ensign's well servicing and manufacturing and production services are provided through the divisions of Ensign Well Services and Opsco Energy Industries (USA).

Ensign’s International Energy Services division operates drilling rigs and workover rigs in Australia, New Zealand, Southeast Asia, Middle East, South America and North and South Africa.

The Company’s shares are listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange under the trading symbol “ESI”.
